Stories They Told Me

Announcing the new publication of the second novel in my Crete series, Stories They Told Me, in paperback and ebook format. My first novel, Ode to Minoa, is the journey of snake priestess-prophetess, Aureillia, in Minoan Crete (1600 BCE) who, through a series of trance visions, witnesses the murder of the Goddess and the future of women as a result of this loss. After I completed that novel I wanted to understand what happened to men with the loss and murder of the Goddess. Stories They Told Me is the culmination of that effort. One day, while doing spirit work with a grove of trees on a local mountain, I was shown that the coven is and always was the trees.  The circle of...

*a time for checking in with the otherworld *a time for deep listening *a time for diagnosis *a time for prescription a time for checking in with the otherworld Divination is a time to bring to light energies that are unseen to us that are nevertheless pushing against and affecting our present 3D reality. In the village in Africa where the divination tradition I practice is from, people would not think of making a big decision or undergoing a large change without checking in with the ancestors and spirits in the other dimensions through divination. It is similar to the way we would consult...

Divination Space

People come to divination for information and answers to questions they are holding. They are given much feedback, information and many suggestions. In the kind of divination I do—prescriptive—they are given rituals to carry out on their own after the divination has ended. These can be offerings to ancestors or work for their own healing. The divination space itself, however, should not be underestimated. It is a field of potent energy. From the collaboration of the forces that show up and the humans in the room, much gets healed immediately in the divination space. By the time the person...
