Free Guided Meditation Journeys: An Offering for this Time

Back in March when many of us in the U.S. were delivered shelter at home and other physical distancing orders due to the influx of Covid-19, and it felt like it was going to be a long time that many of us would be stuck indoors more than usual, I wondered what I could offer to possibly bring some solace or any kind of assistance to people at this time.  What I came up with is to offer these free guided meditation journeys. Guided Meditation Journeys A Meditation Journey or guided visualization is a time out of ordinary time to drop into a trance like state and be led on a journey that is...

What is a Coven?

For many years I believed the coven was a group of women that met at certain phases of the moon and carried out sacred work dedicated to women’s medicine. I tried and tried to create a coven. My efforts kept failing. Finally, I learned the Italian word for coven, boschetto. In Italian, this is the same word as grove. The fact that these two words are the same in Italian was very interesting to me. I began to hold this knowing in my consciousness. One day, while doing spirit work with a grove of trees on a local mountain, I was shown that the coven is and always was the trees.  The circle of...

The Goddess Diana: the Tree, the Forest, the Grove

I have, for many years, been bothered with my inability to fully connect with the descriptions and definitions of the Goddess Diana of Italian lore. Being of the Italian Strega lineage I felt that of course, it should come automatically to me. But the truth is, until we have a direct experience with something, we often do not fully connect. We can read all the books we want but if we do not feel it in our bodies, it does not make sense. That is the way it is for me anyway. I knew Diana as the oak tree. That I could understand intellectually because my work is completely intertwined and...

Aligning Ourselves with the Paradigm of the Goddess

The Paradigm (worldview) of the Goddess is a way of life, a way of being, a reality different and other than the current mechanistic paradigm (life as machine) we live in and yet the one revealed more and more through biology, physics, biochemistry and cosmology. This reality has also been confirmed to me through divinations I have done in my time as an initiated diviner. When I first encountered The Paradigm of the Goddess in the books of Marija Gimbutas—wherein she catalogues the archaeological remains of Paleolithic and Neolithic cultures of powerful ancient women long forgotten, ancient...

A Recording for and about the Trees

In September of 2016 I gave a talk at Many Rivers Books and Teas in Sebastopol, CA on my Tree Medicine Trilogy of books. The recording of that event has been made available only recently. I thought I would share it here for anyone that may be interested in listening. In the talk I discuss working with trees on a spiritual level, what I mean when I speak of Tree Medicine, read from the books, Teachings from the Trees, The Amazon Pattern and Notes from a Diviner in the Post Modern World and answer questions from the audience. It was a good night and the discussion was fun and lively. Here’s...
