We are very excited to announce the release of our book and Oracle deck, The Oscan Oracle: from the Ancient Janarra of the Moon by Theresa C. Dintino and Rauri Tor.
Over a period of five years, we, Rauri and Theresa listened for these teachings. As we worked, we began to notice a theme arising in the material. We came to understand that The Oscan Oracle seeks to reconnect humans with their authentic, feeling and empathetic selves as well as the wild world of nature they are embedded in. It seeks to return the reader to their spiritual center and guides.

The Oscan Oracle is many things. It is the story of recovering a spiritual lineage from Italy that was lost in the great migrations of the early 20th century. It is also a reference guide meant to accompany a divination system, akin to a tarot deck or ancient rune stones. It is Oscan because we, Theresa and Rauri, discovered that our ancestors, the Janarra, were Oscan-speaking peoples. This oracle is made up of the letters of the Oscan alphabet.
The Oscan language was actively spoken in regions of what is now Italy, in pre-Roman times, from 600 BCE–1 CE. The Oscan people were not the only people to speak Oscan; it was the language of many ancient peoples. Among them were the Oscan-speaking Samnites—our ancient ancestors from the pre-Roman era.
The Oscan Oracle is a tool for you to use to access information from your spiritual guides, higher self and ancestors. It heals while also instructs and informs about the ways of the Janarra and the Moon. The Oscan Oracle also contains twelve moon meditations and a ritual for each of the twenty-one letters of the Oracle deck.
You may choose to read through The Oscan Oracle as a book. You may choose to cut the cards out at the back and use them as a divination system, asking a question, then choosing a card. Or, you may choose to simply open the book and stop at what appeals to you.

Theresa C. Dintino is a diviner and writer living in Sebastopol, CA. She has dedicated the past 12 years to the work of restoring her ancestral Italian spiritual lineage.
New Moon-Full Moon Spread
On the new moon, draw a letter and carry out the ritual indicated with it for half the lunar cycle. At the full moon. draw another letter and carry out that ritual for the second half of the lunar cycle.
If further information is wanted based on what came through in that lunar cycle, continue that rhythm into the next.
You can ask a question and draw a card or, if you don’t have a particular question, just draw a card and do the ritual to see what the spirits want to reveal to you.
